Our goal is to create a sustainable improvement in performance. Our approach is to integrate the correct blend of “Lean Tools” with the appropriate level of employee engagement. That enables us to get traction early in any deployment and demonstrate performance benefits leading to financial improvement. We begin by doing a simple high level analysis and where appropriate, supported by a Value Stream Map. This analysis guides us in determining where the early focus areas should be. The next stage will involve jointly developing a roadmap for the remaining initiatives and detailing the timing and execution plans.
We will always ensure there is a sustainable exit before we finish any deployment. In certain cases, you may have already started a Lean Engagement, but it needs extra impetus. This will not be a barrier for us, as we can come in at any stage.
The whole philosophy is underpinned with the mind-set of waste elimination, we expose staff groups to the Lean concept of the 8 Wastes early on in any deployment, as we find this engenders higher levels of engagement and commitment.
